Client Business Analyst
Position Summary
The Client Manager role is to help our clients be successful while minimizing risk to PrimaLend. This position is responsible for being our existing client’s primary point of contact within PrimaLend, as well as being responsible for all day-to-day management for our portfolio of clients.
This role will require a diverse skill set composed of customer service, financial analysis, and consulting to optimally provide PrimaLend’s customers with the support needed for a successful business relationship and to ensure compliance with our loan agreement. The Client Manager is a unique operations role that directly interacts with all departments within PrimaLend and provides the individual opportunities to grow and develop skills across multiple departments simultaneously.
Position Responsibilities
- Publish accurate and timely Borrowing Bases (daily, weekly, monthly, or as needed)
- Assess borrowers’ requests for funding and collateral returns
- Complete monthly and as needed statistical analysis for tracking client key performance indicators
- Possess in-depth understanding of client’s business model, strategy, policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and support in response to client’s business needs and strategies
- Complete quarterly borrower risk models
- Prepare credit memos with recommendations for credit committee approval
- Track all loan covenants and acquiring compliance documentation
- Ensure eligible collateral is compliant with the terms of our loan agreement and accounted for
- Completion of additional projects, reporting and various tasks on an as needed basis
- Travel required for dealer visits, training and other various reasons on a case by case basis
Job Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related business experience
- Minimum 3-5 years professional experience
- Advanced Excel skills including but not limited to: VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, IF Statements
- Strong quantitative financial analysis skills and the ability to infer conclusions based on accurate data
- Ability to read and analyze GAAP financial statements
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once through completion
- Outstanding customer service skills and professional correspondence both in person and electronically
- Communicate effectively both externally and internally via phone, email, and in-person meetings
- Team oriented and can work well within a team setting
- Maintain the highest levels of professionalism, punctuality, and positive attitude
