Data & Reporting Analyst
Position Summary
The Data Manager role offers the opportunity to be PrimaLend’s primary resource for keeping our client reporting up to date and accurate within our credit management system. This role is
vital in making sure that PrimaLend is lending on the most complete information available and to get our client’s Borrowing Bases out in an accurate and timely manner. A Data Manager’s primary focus will be pulling client data directly from our client’s data management systems and formatting it to align with PrimaLend’s reports and credit software. In addition, this role will be responsible for the completion of statistical and financial models to assess client’s business standing. This role will require diligent time management and the ability to work on multiple projects at once while meeting sensitive deadlines.
Position Responsibilities
- Update Borrowing Bases in accordance with a set schedule and as needed
- Work in unison with the Client Manager to ensure exceptional service to the client
- Assist with data analysis and statistical models for clients to achieve their goals
- Compile reports for use in rolling statistical analysis of sales and portfolio trends
- Update client risk ratings on a quarterly basis and as needed
- Help compile dealer information for annual renewals with the credit committee
- Work with collateral staff to ensure all necessary collateral is logged and accounted for
- Monitor credit statistics on a client and company scale
- Assist in the quality assurance and fraud prevention to mitigate company risk
- Complete additional projects, reporting and various tasks on an as needed basis
Job Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Management, Statistics, or related business experience
- Advanced Excel skills including but not limited to: VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, IF Statements
- Strong quantitative financial analysis skills and the ability to infer conclusions based on data
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once to completion
- Diligent work ethic with a proven ability to consistently perform
- Comfortable working with large data sets and financial information
- Communicate effectively both externally and internally via phone, email, and in-person meetings
- Team oriented and can work well within a team setting
- Maintain the highest levels of professionalism, punctuality, and positive attitude
